  1. Why choose Kejabe Media?
    Because we put usability first and design second. What does that mean? We place a priority on the usefulness, usability, speed and function of the site over the way it looks. This is crucial as these are the exact same criteria your visitors use. Good usability translates into effectiveness and an effective website contributes to your bottom line. That’s not to say our design is poor, we excel in design and apply it effectively to your site.
  2. What do you need to get started?
    We need a project brief where you tell us your requirements. If you are unsure, we will walk you through this stage. Also, we need your content. This includes your copy (words of text), logo and any relevant photos (especially product shots). If you don’t have any of these, let us know and we can point you to one of our trusted partners or do the work ourselves as we have access to great resources.

    We work primarily via the internet – through email and/or instant messaging – with international clients. Depending on time zone differences and for local clients, we’re happy for you to call us or us to call you and discuss your project. Our phone number is available on our contact page.
  4. How long does it take to have a website designed?
    The time frame is determined by the size of your web site and the complexity of your site design. Kejabe Media will work within your time frame and inside your budget which we will agree with you at the outset.
  5. How much does a “typical” website cost?
    The number one question we get asked is how much does it cost for a website. This is also one of the hardest ones to answer. We believe that every client is different and has different needs therefore we quote separately for every website. We create a design brief and fix a cost on that brief, unlike many other web design companies who quote one price then add extras throughout the process. This means that the price you pay will be agreed before we start work and you get no surprises or budget over runs. As an example, a “typical” site that is requested for is brochureware. Brochureware is simply a site with no interactivity (ecommerce, forums, galleries, etc) except for an online contact form. A site that is under 10 pages starts from £100 with an ongoing monthly hosting/maintenance charge from just £10 a month.
  6. Why are our prices so low?
    Through years of experience, we’ve gained considerable expertise and have very low overheads so we’re much more efficient than our competitors. As well as being our business this is also our preferred way of spending our time.
  7. What are your payment terms?
    For web design, we charge 50% upon agreement and then 50% upon completion of the project when it goes live. Web hosting is paid 1 month in advance. Consultancy will be invoiced on an agreed work schedule.
  8. How do I pay you?
    You can pay us via PayPal, UK cheque or direct bank transfer. For your ongoing monthly fees, we prefer PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make payment via credit card.
  9. What is web hosting?
    Web hosting is your presence on the Internet. It is where your unique domain name is located and where your site it hosted, allowing access to your site 24/7.
  10. Can you provide a domain name?
    No problem. We can get you any available name that you want or, for specific niche websites, we can research the market and select the most beneficial domain name available.
  11. Will you upload the finished site to my existing hosting account?
    Yes, but you will need to provide us with your FTP information and your existing hosting must have the correct feature set. If you don’t have a web host, we can provide you with great cost-effective hosting with our hosting partner.
  12. What if I need to update my site later?
    Any small changes generally fall within the context of your monthly maintenance charge. We will make you aware of any significant changes if you request them and we will discuss the cost with you before any changes are effected.
  13. I am currently in dispute with my current web design company and I am afraid of losing my domain can you help?
    If you own a domain name then no one can take it from you or hold onto it, even if you owe them money. Although we can’t enter into disputes with your current web design supplier, we can help you get your domain back for you.
  14. Do you offer e-commerce packages?
    Yes we offer full e-commerce packages allowing you to sell goods online and take payments. We work with payments systems such as Paypal, Worldpay, Streamline, NoChex and many others.
  15. Do you offer search engine optimisation?
    Absolutely. We fully optimise all our sites and ensure that your site is targeted to the search engines.Yes we offer a range of search engine optimisation programs.
